Aetna (CCC Plus and Medallion 4.0)
  • 800-734-0430
  • There is an electronic system, you must state “Transportation Services” and then press “1” to arrange a ride.
  • They require at least three days’ notice (NOT business days, you can schedule on a Friday for a Monday appointment)
  • You must have your member ID and information about the appointment including whether it is for a PCP or specialist, for a new problem visit, follow-up, or treatment (if treatment, they want to know what procedure is being done to verify that it is a covered service)
  • They do have “urgent guidelines” for exemptions for same-day scheduling, should another ride plan fall through for an urgent appointment (ex. Dialysis or chemotherapy), these are discretionary and would be dependent on the type of appointment that the patient needs to get to.

Anthem HealthKeepers Plus (CCC Plus and Medallion 4.0)

  • This line does not ring, so the person must stay on the line until the electronic system picks up
  • They take reservations with at least five business days’ notice 6am-6pm Monday through Friday
  • The person will need their member ID, the name and address of the provider they are seeing, and whether that provider is a PCP or specialist
  • If enrolled in the CCC Plus plan and you would like to cancel, ask questions, or register a complaint or compliment about transportation, please call 855-325-7581 and select Option 1.
  • If enrolled in the Medallion 4.0 plan and you would like to cancel, ask questions, or register a complaint or compliment about transportation, please call 877-892-3988 and select Option 2.

 

Magellan Complete Care Virginia (and Medallion 4.0)

  • Please call at least two business days (48 hours) before the member’s healthcare appointment.

  • They are available for scheduling 6am-6pm Monday through Friday.
  • You should have your member ID, you pick-up and drop-off addresses, and the phone number for your provider.
  • If enrolled in Optima’s CCC Plus plan and you would like to cancel, ask questions, or register a complaint or compliment about transportation, please call 855-325-7558 and select Option 1.
